Our name, Fontis, derived from the Latin word for "fountain", embodies a spirit of vitality and growth. The circular shape of our logo reflects the Earth's perpetual rotation, symbolising continuous renewal and evolution. Moreover, the multiple colours within our logo represent the diversity of our team and the range of perspectives we value. Despite our differences, we unite under a common goal: Delivering sustainable performance, integrity, and dependability.

Management Team
Raphael Siri
CEO
Bio: Raphael Siri is the CEO of Fontis Energy. He brings close to three decades of experience within the oil and gas industry. Siri joined Fontis Energy in June 2023, following 17 years of operational and management experience in major oil and gas drilling contractors like Schlumberger, Pride International and Seadrill; and 10 years of Executive Management experience in the Sapura Energy Berhad Group. Throughout his entire tenure in the Sapura Energy Group as an Executive Committee member, he held the position of CEO of Sapura Drilling, and periodically managed Group Corporate functions including Risk, Performance, Transformation, SCM, IT, and QHSE. His international career included living in 11 different countries across the globe, from Africa, Asia to North and Central America. Siri holds an Engineering Diploma in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées in Paris, and a degree in Applied Mathematics from Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis in Nice.
Frederic Alonso
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Bio: Frederic Alonso is the Director of Operations and Technical Support at Fontis Energy. He joined the company in June 2023, bringing with him 28 years of operational and management experience with major oil and gas drilling contractors such as Schlumberger, Transocean, Seadrill, and Perenco. Alonso has worked in various areas around the world including Brazil, USA, West Africa, India, North Sea, Singapore, and Mexico. During his career, he gained experience in jack-up, semi-submersible, and ultra-deepwater drillships.
dale Hart
DIRECTOR OF MARKEINTG, LEGAL & ADMINISTRATION
Bio: Dale Hart is the Director of Marketing, Legal and Administration at Fontis Energy, bringing over 20 years of international experience in the shipping, logistics, and oil and gas sectors. Hart joined Fontis Energy in September 2023, with a proven track record in marketing, human resources, crewing, and various business administration functions. His previous roles include key management positions at GAC, Seadrill, and, most recently, Sapura Energy Berhad, where he served as the Head of Human Resources, Crewing, and Administration. His extensive experience has allowed him to effectively contribute to organizations in diverse markets across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Ben Stopper
DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE, SCM & IT
Bio: Ben Stopper serves as the Director of Performance, Supply Chain Management, and IT at Fontis Energy. He brings over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector to his role. Stopper became part of Fontis Energy in September 2023, after spending 13 years gaining operational and management expertise, offshore and onshore, with prominent oil and gas drilling firms like Sapura Drilling and Seadrill, as well as with EPCIC energy services provider Sapura Energy Berhad Group. At Sapura, he held key managerial positions such as Procurement Manager, Performance Manager, and Head of Supply Chain and IT, overseeing the global activities of their drilling divisions' SCM and IT functions. His extensive experience has enabled him to navigate difficult domains in eight countries across Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.
